Timothy Geithner served as 75th Secretary of the Treasury and, in that office, played a central role in formulating U.S. domestic and international economic policy during President Barack Obama’s first term. Between 2003 and 2009, Mr. Geithner served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He is currently President of Warburg Pincus, an American global private equity firm. He is the author of Stress Test: Reflections on Financial Crises (Crown).
